BECOMING HUMANS
I really think the talk about human evolution very interesting, especially when the scientist (I don’t remember her name) showed us that there are questions without answers, for the moment. A lot of work is needed to discover evidence that help scientists to built the map of our evolution, for instance, the mysterious extinction of Neanderthals and more date about human emigrations. Surely, in the future, someone will find out mistakes in evolution theory and other links between our ancestors will appear, so those questions will be solved.
When you are interested in this subject, sometimes one thinks how short is the distance between apes and humans: Is the language the tool that makes the human brain develops? Why only humans develop oral language? If the apes could speak, could they be clever like humans? There are experiments with chimpanzees to find ways of communicating with them and in some cases there have been good results. Consequently, next questions are: How are the apes treated by us? Why are they used in medical researchers? Do apes have rights?
